Well
the "Winx Club" trading card game is different from card games like Yu-Gi-Oh,
Pokemon or Duel Masters. The game is focused on using cooperation to
fight off the evil trio of witches by using magical powers. The game
is came out sometime during 2005 and it is now hard to find. I don't know much
but here is a brief description on how to play:
- Each player will have a ring in their pinky finger and 30 or more
cards.
- You can only use the Winx Cards from one character.
- You place the starter card from your deck (the one that has a 6 on
it).
- The object is to match Power Cards" on each side of the Winx card.
Each card has different colored arches that represent Charm, friendship,
courage, happiness, etc.
- You must always have six cards when you start your turn.
- The youngest player starts the game
- Playing cards from your hand on your turn
 | Put Winx cards in front of you (maximum of 3) |
 | You can play Magix cards which can change the rules of the game |
 | Loan power cards to other players. |
Loaning
 | Players should tell you what cards they need during your turn. |
 | Borrower must perform "Power Play" which is a answering a question,
a challenge or something really embarrasing. hahaha |
 | When you loan the arrow on the bottom of the card should point to
you so you can remember to get the card back. |
When ending your turn you my discard any cards that you don't want but
you can only draw cards when your next turns starts.
Also before you end your turn the borrower of any cards must do the
"Power Play" found on the card.
THE BATTLE
 | When your Winx card has matched all the power cards on each side
then you can battle the Trix |
 | First you add up all the battle points at the bottom of the Winx
cards going into battle. |
 | Then you roll the Trix dice
 | TIE - nothing happens and you keep rolling the dice. |
 | WIN - If your Winx is higher than the number on the trix die then
you win. Put your total points on the score card and the winx
cards that went into battle into the discard pile. |
 | LOSE - If your Winx is lower than the number on the trix die then
you lose. Put the losing Winx cards under the Cloud Tower card
pile. |
|
 | Any player can use their Magix cards to alter the battle. |
I'm not sure about this rule but I think each time after battle you:
- All players move the Sun ring on your finger over.
- Use the Key to unlock cards from the Cloud Tower pile and put it
into the players discard pile.
Game ends when the Sun Ring rolls off your thumb.
You win if you scored more than 20 points.
